I lead a UX team of Designers, Researchers, Copywriters focused on increasing conversion, retention and improving brand awareness through the creation of an easy-to-use, self-explanatory user interface and an engaging user experience.These goals are pursued through a rigorous yet ever-evolving design process founded on three main pillars: user centered design, Lean UX approach, data-driven decision-making.The process is applied to design both responsive website (desktop, tablet, smartphone) and apps (iOS, Android) within an agile development environment that requires a holistic vision combined to attention to details and to a highly iterative approach.Collecting feedback as soon as possible is the key to a continuous evolution of both product and vision.● Pre-design test to validate strategic design assumptions and to identify new opportunities thorough direct user observation (performed both on the company website and competitors).● Usability test performed on HTML/CSS/JS prototypes to validate interaction design assumptions.● Micro-test to validate multiple visual design option with users before development.● Usability test performed on the real website (both remotely and in-person) to collect qualitative data.● Cross-functional collaboration between designers, developers and stakeholders to tackle design problems from multiple angles from the very early stages of the workflow.● Creation of UI.elements Libraries to tightly connect the work of Interaction Designers, Visual Designers and Front-End Developers into a streamlined workflow that optimizes aimed to dramatically facilitate cross-team communication and increase UI consistency.● Take decisions based on a data-drive approach, through results coming from A/B Test and MVT.● Collaboration with the Analytics team to define KPIs and to read interpret result to the light of qualitative data collected through usability tests.

Manage visual design projects and creative initiatives proactively (e.g. style guide creation).Create effective, engaging designs that support business objectives, adhere to established brand guidelines and meet legal requirements, with minimal direction.Create engaging and brand relevant creative assets to help construct the overall user experience and result in higher click-through rates and conversion.Assist with site production as needed focusing on major layout and site flow updates.Manage day to day design changes to accommodate the business needs of all product lines and marketing programs.Translate interaction design/wireframes into visual user interfaces.Apply user-centered design practices to create high quality consumer experiences. Work closely with usability team to test new designs.Strategic design work for multi-variant testing, building out page variations as needed to test hypotheses on the site.Collaborate with marketing and site merchandising on how to continually improve the effectiveness of promotions; continually develop and test new approaches.Research competition and be aware of emerging technologies.Communicate and sell design solutions to senior management and colleagues.
