Responsible for timely completion of provider data changes, adds, and terminations. Manage and monitor provider data integrity, accuracy, and trending.Create and maintain KPIs and goals for the department. Report team statistics, trending, priorities, needs, and risks to Senior Management. Maintain the integrity of provider data for all network and non-network providers, ensuring that all provider information is entered accurately, timely, and efficiently to provide for proper claims adjudication, provider directory output, and member access.Ensure accuracy of provider data by conducting quarterly audits of health network data and on-going in-line audits of the SSHP website.Identify gaps and collaborate with functional areas to optimize operational efficiencies by directing the implementation of process improvements.Coordinate with IT to ensure proper configuration of provider data.Develop and update policies and procedures and desktop protocols as needed to maintain quality controls and guide the operation of PDM.Lead the department through the development and implementation of new or enhanced programs related to provider data operations.Manage the provider data operations staff including training, performance appraisal, performance goal setting, and resource allocation.Lead a team with varying levels of technical and business abilities to ensure effective use of individual skills to achieve team goals and objectives.Effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying backgrounds in a variety of formal and informal settings.Identify issues, develop and implement solutions.Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with all levels of staff.Work under internal and external time and operational constraints.Evaluate departmental business needs and make swift and effective decisions based on available resources.Develop team member skill sets via on going training and direct support.
