AbOvo is a leader company in providing Advanced Planning and Scheduling solutions based on Quintiq software.I'm leading the communication with the customer regarding the technical implementation of the APS solution and I discuss the several possibilities to interface the APS solution with other systems.My tasks as a technical consultant consist of:- checking all the system and software requirements are viable- documenting architecture and interface documents to describe a proposal for the Advanced and Planning Solution - sizing the customer environment- supporting the customer IT department to decide which interface to use and how to exchange data between the systems - performing installation and configuration of the development and customer environments- teaching the customer how to install, configure and maintain the Quintiq solution- creating technical release notes for a new version- upgrading the environment at the customer side- documenting the configuration of the development environments - testing the interfaces- debugging interfaces and any technical issue- communication with the customer- share with other technical consultants issues and resolutions found at a specific customer - advise and implement tools that can improve the work- performance analysis and improvements- managing the database structure, backup and restores- discuss with internal IT dept.In the past years I worked for several customers like:- VR, a government-owned railway logistic company in Finland- Teijin, a Japanese chemical, pharmaceutical and IT company- Ovako, a European producer and developer of steel products- DB Schenker, an international transport and logistics company- Hupac, an intermodal network operator- Eurailscout, key player in the monitoring of dutch railway

At AutostradeTech (Italian Motorway Network) I worked on these main projects:- Providing real-time traffic flow data to our partner BMWWe developed a binary protocol to share real-time traffic flow data and problems on the network like congestion or delays. Our software acquires data from several countries and handles the requests of the BMW fleet. Now, thanks to this protocol, our BMW partner can build cars able to optimize the path finding the fastest route in Italy, France, United Kingdom and Germany.We used the following technologies: Java, Tomcat, SOAP, Postgis, Ibatis, JAXB, spatial queries, XML, XSD, Log4J, Maven, Ant, Junit, SVN, MVC, servlet, JSP, HTML, CSS, javascript, Json- Create an app and website for quality control in highway’s service areasWe developed a software that inspectors could use to check the quality of services (bathrooms, bars, restaurants). We developed the phone app: a binary encrypted questionnaire could be downloaded, once at the service area the inspectors could fill the answers and store all evaluations and pictures. Information could be sent away in a second time when a connection is available.It is possible to view the information sent by the inspectors on a website that we created.We used the following technologies: Java, Tomcat, Oracle, Ibatis, servlet, JSP, Maven, Ant, Junit, Log4j, binary protocol, CVS, javascript, Java MIDlets, Polish, Maven, Ant - Remote toll for heavy vehicles on the french network for our partner EcomouvWe developed a web-portal that would allow our partner to follow in its path each heavy vehicle equipped with a special device, monitoring mandatory automatic payments on specific routes. The program should also allow users to view their history of fees. Development of several websites in php and mysql.Some were e-commerce websites where I have implemented every part of the it: database, style, programming, secure payments with Paypal and Banca Sella. We defined also an automatic export of the articles in csv or xml to provide it to advertisement partners; an example of this is: www.glamood.com Some others were simple websites in wordpress where the style has been adapted; these were mainly to advertise local companies: a book shop, a local resort, a guide for Russian tourists, a corporate website for architects, a clothing brand or a rock band.
