Following the creation of a Machine Learning platform team, I am now the Engineering Manager of a group of Machine Learning Engineers that work hand in hand with our data scientists in cross functional teams.In Prima we are paving the way for a seamless integration in production for all great ideas the Pricing teams come up with each day.Not only we follow each step in the complex life-cycle of machine learning models, but we also develop tools to simplify the life of all Data Scientists in the company, whatever region they are in.My role is now facilitating the growth of our Machine Learning platform, leading the coordination of the Machine Learning Engineering chapter, and managing a small team of engineers that are working right in the pricing teams to further boost collaboration and productivity.

Part of the Prima's team that takes care of establishing the tariff of our policies based on the risk model associated with each customer.I was mostly in charge of developing software tools to enable a faster development of the models themselves, as well as their release in production.In doing this I prepared the base from which the Machine Learning platform teams were born.

Tech lead for the System Design line, I had the chance to contribute to other projects and lines depending on the company project priorities according to my competences.In short:- Tech lead of a small team (2‑3 devs) developing hardware and firmware test benches- Firmware development for microcontrollers- Software development for multiprocess applications in the medical field- Python mentor across the lines of business

I was part of the team in charge of maintaining over 30 test stations in Micron's R&D reliability laboratory.Thanks to most benches having their own technological stack, I got my chance to discover and over the years work with several programming languages (Python, LabVIEW, C, C++, Elm, Perl, Matlab, Octave, Bash).I also worked hand in hand with the researchers not only to design the experiments and implement them, but also to provide them software to retrieve and analyze data in a fast pace.Specifically I worked on: - Implementation in different languages of the low level instrument drivers to be used in the testing algorithms higher level abstractions- Design and implementation of the data analysis tools complete of: requirement collections, data collection and conversion to/from proprietary formats, regression algorithms, plots, GUI- Leading the project for the development of a new testing framework to provide the data scientists a unified Python based DSL for reliability tests as well as grant remote access, parallelization capabilities, and improved tool usage accountability to optimize costs- Developing the web service to monitor the laboratory state and book its stations

I was responsible for the growth through ALD (Atomic-Layer-Deposition) and functional characterization of High-k oxide (HfO2, AlHfO2 and TiO2) devices for neuroelectronics and nanoelectronics applications.I also maintained the electrical characterization test benches and developed their data acquisition software including: driver development, test algorithm, data collection, and data analysis capabilities.
