About Lorenzo Guio, Phd

I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Washington completing projects related to my thesis: Understanding the relationships between physical properties and molecular structure of semiconducting polymers to improve their performance in flexible electronics. At the same time, I am working with the Department of Pediatrics at UW to develop a life-saving IV failure detecting patch. My time in research and trying to spin out companies from academia has allowed me to gain experience in materials science, chemistry, programming, dynamic simulations, and tech commercialization.
