My professional experience starts when I was 14, making my first piece of software on a Commodore 64. Since then, I've never been without a computer.My first experience with an x86 PC is on an IBM 8086 with green monitor, in the last years of the '80s (1988-1989), so I started messing around with IBM DOS 2. I tasted all flavours of text-only Microsoft PC OSes, (MS-DOS 3.30, 5, 6, 7).Then I started working on Windows 3.0, 3.1 & 3.11, and I followed the entire evolution(95, NT4, 98, 2000 Pro & Server, Windows XP Vista 32&64 bit and, nowadays, Windows 7 and 8 and Server 2008/2012). My first networking experience was connecting in the same LAN DOS and Win 3.0.As a software engineer I started making something useful in 2000, with my first PHP application.I was also a client / server & web developer, using C# and .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0, on top of Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS.I have also good knowledge in managing and customizing Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007 (WSS 3.0) web applications.Thanks to my work at University Of Macerata, I am now a good expert in Linux.
