Over the years, I have worked with youth in their development. Licensed in Ministry at 17 years old and ordained at the age of 21, I started as a Sunday School teacher for 2 years and was made a Youth Pastor where I served for 10 years. I also gained an even greater knowledge base concerning creating lesson plans, conflict resolution, and positive redirections, just to name a few, as an Afterschool and Summer Camp Counselor turned Lead Teacher and Coordinator with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Many of my counselors were CMS teachers and were a well of knowledge. I was challenged to be innovative, creative, nurturing and most of all, patient as I was the creator of many of the programs.
