His approach to musical storytelling integrates the timeless sound of live orchestral instruments and experiments with synthesis and sampling techniques. Drawing from his classical training and expertise in synth programming and electronic music, Lorenzo has composed original scores and added his sonic touch to a diverse range of visual media, with a particular passion for multi-episodic animation and original IPs. As an artist, he deeply values the collaborative process and regularly teams up with trusted musicians, orchestrators, and music collaborators to craft modern and unique sound signatures.​ ​Notable works in Lorenzo's portfolio include the LGBTQ+ narrative film Just A Friend (2023) by award-winning director Courtney Deelen and produced by Deelen with Trouble Inc.; Potter's Mirror (2024), an independent stop motion film by Katherine O'Connor, which recently qualified for a BAFTA entry, and is currently in the running for selection at the renowned Annecy International Animation Film Festival; and the award-winning animated films iCare (2023) and Tatty (2022), produced at Escape Studios. Lorenzo was recently honoured a Best Original Score award at the Hollywood Gold Awards for his contribution to Bouya (June 2023).​In addition to his prolific work as a composer, Lorenzo is also working alongside Hollywood composer Kevin Manthei and contributing to the creative journey of Triumph Audio, an LA-based sampling boutique that develops sample libraries with a cinematic creative edge.Originally from Florence, Italy, Lorenzo’s career began with a BA (Hons) degree in Film Music from one of the UK's top music conservatories Leeds Conservatoire, where he was awarded the prestigious Nicholas Dodd Prize for Film Music in recognition of his academic achievements. He frequently returns to the Conservatoire to deliver lectures and masterclasses to current Film Music students. Most recently, Lorenzo also completed a Postgraduate course in International Music Business at ThinkSpace Education. Now splitting his time between Italy and the UK, Lorenzo remains engaged with the composers' community and regularly attends festivals and conferences to connect with other creatives. As of 2024, Lorenzo also began a collaboration with Made Management, one of Norway’s leading music management companies, where he works alongside a remarkable roster of producers, singers, and songwriters, including internationally acclaimed pop artists Aurora and Sigrid.
