• Support the implementation of HR policies, strategic plans and initiatives in Med Office.• Act as a primary point of contact for the employees and managers, developing a trusting and consultative relationship with all levels of managers and employees.• In conjunction with IUCN HR teams, manage the recruitment and hire of internal and external applicants. • Provide leadership and support to management on the complete range of human resources activities including employee relations, conflict management, employee grievances, benefits and compensation, full employee life cycle, including separations, inclusion and workplace health initiatives, learning and development, workforce planning, organization structure, etc.• Ensure the timely completion of all activities of the performance development cycle, build managers and staff capacity to develop their performance and others through feedback conversations.• Supervise all matters relating to IUCN payroll in Spain.• Support the Med Director in the strategic organizational development of Med and develop and conduct measures for employee development.• Draw the attention to any instances of HR risks, issues, legal compliance, performance and conduct, employee relations, among others, and possible resolutions.• Actively take part in in budget planning and implementation; lead the annual headcount and workforce planning process Med Office.
