  The Deputy Head Girl acts as part of a team that acts as a bridge between the students and the staff at Kent College, as well as being the face of the student body and managing novel projects. This role requires leadership, initiative, creativity, ability to work closely within a team as well as with staff, responsibility, and organisation skills. In this role, I have been an ambassador of the school's ethos, communicating with the governors and inspectors as well as with prospective parents and families during events such as Open Days and private visits. The very process of selection for this role taught me how to market myself to future employers and present my projects in order to stand out. My main goal during my term as a Deputy Head Girl is to establish a partnership with other schools in Europe to facilitate exchanges and language immersions; so I have been working with the marketing team at KC to define our strategy regarding the European market. The ultimate goal is to diversify our boarding community and enrich our student body, giving our students a wider perspective on their role in an ever-globalising society.
