Loretta J. Bradley, PhD holds a Paul Whitfield Horn Professorship in Counselor Education at Texas Tech University (TTU). Prior to her affiliation with TTU, Dr. Bradley was Associate Professor of Human Development Counseling at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and an Assistant Dean, College of Education at Temple University. She earned her PhD degree at Purdue University. Dr. Bradley is the President of the International Association for Marriage and Family Counseling (IAMFC), a former President of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and the Texas Association for Adult Development and Aging (TXAADA). She has also served as Treasurer of ACA. Dr. Bradley is a Fellow of the American Counseling Association and the Salzburg Institute (Austria). Dr. Bradley is a member of the board of directors for the Texas Counseling Association (TCA). She is the co-recipient of Outstanding Research Awards from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, American Counseling Association, and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. Bradley is also the recipient of the Texas Tech University Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award. Dr. Bradley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-TX), LPC– Supervisor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist & Supervisor (TX). Dr. Bradley is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a National Certified Career Counselor (NCCC) and a National Certified Supervisor (NCS). In addition, Dr. Bradley holds certification as school counselor and teacher.
