About Loretta Daugalis

Loretta Daugalis has over seventeen years of experience delivering change and improvement projects. In her current role as General Manager, Workforce Strategy, Loretta has been instrumental in the development and implementation of RailCorp’s People strategy, which aims to foster a customer focused workforce that is empowered, accountable, committed and proud of its achievements. In addition to this, Loretta drives HR capability in program and project management, change management, customer focus, business planning, reporting and governance. Loretta previously held the role of Manager Business Projects and Planning for RailCorp. Here Loretta established and ran a program office, driving reporting and forecasting of the Service Delivery Group’s $20 million capital projects. Prior to this, Loretta was the Manager Development and Strategic Projects where she completed a number of strategic organisational reviews, was responsible for delivering a business plan and also managed the transition process for the Train Services Group. These roles saw Loretta successfully take the lead in the development of strategic plans, in addition to the management of numerous HR functions. Beginning her career in academia, Loretta held various teaching and research roles at Flinders University across both the communication and behavioural science fields. This held Loretta in good stead for the progression to management and consultancy positions where she developed and delivered strategic plans, led effective change management, and drove a strong focus on empowering organisations. Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Biology), majoring in Psychology (Honours), Loretta also has a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science.
