I’ve worked within Financial Services for over 20 years at companies such as Scudder Threadneedle Asset Management (now Bank of New York), Zurich Financial Services, Lloyds TSB Banking Group, Nationwide Building Society and MHA Monahans Wealth Management. My position prior to my current role was with MHA Monahans Wealth Management. I spent over 7 years in a Client Relations & Operational Support role. I gained a vast amount of experience working for a firm of Independent Financial Advisors dealing with pensions & investments. My days would Include setting up clients meetings, commencing new pension & investments plans, transfers, fund switches, CGT exercises, client withdrawals requests. PP to ISA transactions. The use of several investment platforms. Collection of client data from other financial companies. General maintenance of client records within our client database. Using an online portal for client communications. Keeping up to date with FCA regulations and compliance. Having excellent Customer Services skills were imperative for engaging in good client relationships. During my time, I also assisted with interviewing, and also trained new team members.Whilst i have a worked within the Financial Services sector, I have also taken time out to join a children.s nursery as the chef. I also worked for Cartus Relocation Services, of which my role was to relocate VIP’s to another part of the world. Assisting the client from start to finish in every aspect of relocating. A very interesting role. Outside of work, a few passions of mine are cooking. I like to think I’m master chef ready, but others may not agree! I also love interior design. My partner and I are currently renovating an old house, which is taking some time, but will be worth it. My two daughters keep me on my toes, when I’m not knee deep in getting my cook on!!
