Looking for part time work in nursing close to where i liive. Doctor office drug rehab home care. Medical receptionist etc. Any work at home position would be great. I worked for the I.R.S. for 2 years as a data transcriber. I enjoy that type of work also and would not mind being trained as a medical transcriptionist or billing and coding or anything else i may be suited for. A companion type job in this area also and i wanted to mention i have worked in a dermatologist office. I have worked in orthopedics at brackenridge hospital samc and many homecare pts. I have done home health visits. I have worked at the deaf school mostly with children. I would also like to learn as much as i can about medicare medicaid and disability and how going back to work affects it. I would love any info anyone could share with me. As for as taking care and being a companion to a cliant i also co owned a restaurant for 13 years so i love to cook. I jave been told im a pretty good one if you or your loved one like to eat. I also do not mind having your loved one at my home for the weekend or week etc so you can take that trip.

Taking care of 60 yr old man in home with bka and prosthetic leg. Taking him to appts, making appts getting meds set up watching for skin breakdown. Making meals washing clothes light housekeeping, bathing dressing especially after he broke his right arm one night while going out in the dark to take out trash. Again watching for color changes in fingers watch that he has good rom in fingers. Make sure color returns quickly on nailbed. Making sure the home is free and clear of things he may trip over and safe.
