Hi everyone. I am Loretta. I am a student, mother and part-time data entry specialist. I am currently enrolled in the Human Development and Family Studies program at the University of Wisconsin - Stout where I transferred from CVTC in the human resources program. I have a large background in providing great customer service, working in healthcare and working with people with physical and mental disabilities.I feel I have an all around knowledge in multiple areas of work. I have done everything from the physical labor working on a farm, call center, to caring for others, customer service, a touch of human resources, computer work and more. I am hoping to use my current education and skills - not only professionally but personally - to expand on topics I am familiar with and also new to, so that I can find a position in the future that really brings out my ability to be an ethical worker, have unbiased feedback, be empathetic and humorous, give a family feel to whomever I work with and I really would like to work somewhere where my skills and personality are appreciated. I feel we live in a world where people give up themselves just to work, make money and have a retirement account and I view work as much more than that. I want a job that needs me, and not that I need it. And the only way you can accomplish that is by being strong, being able to take and give feedback, treat your co-workers with respect as if they were your family, and really take pride in your work in a way that no one else could if you were replaced with someone who just needed the job. I would like a career where I am truly allowed to use my education and skills to make a difference and an employer who appreciates such work ethic. I do still have 2 years left of schooling, but I am hopeful that I can work in the area of case management possibly for people with mental health issues, case work, peer counseling, or anything else relatable to my skills. I am also open to any other area where my background would come in handy. I look forward to being done with schooling so that I can bring my talent to somewhere that needs skills like mine.
