The summit galvanized the community and produced a resource guide providing residents with connections to social services, government, and faith leaders. ✔ADVOCACY—Advocated for and secured monies in the 2009 stimulus bill as a staffer to U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, for a $2B federal amendment to revitalize Head Start facilities nationwide.
