As the Senior Vice President Human Resources at Del Norte Credit Union, I lead a team of professionals who support over 220 employees across 9 locations in New Mexico. We are responsible for developing and implementing leadership training and HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the credit union's mission, vision, and values, and that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.With over 20 years of experience in HR and training, I have a passion for creating a positive and productive work environment that fosters learning, growth, and innovation. I have successfully designed and delivered multiple training initiatives, such as Leadership Development Programs, Diversity and Inclusion Programs, and the Wellness Programs, that have improved employee skills, satisfaction, and well-being. I have also negotiated and managed employee benefits plans, providing competitive and comprehensive coverage for our staff. I hold an MBA in Human Resources Management and two Bachelor's Degrees in Human Resources Management and Financial Management. I am also certified as a SHRM-SCP and SPHR.
