Aviation Security Consulting, Inc. (ASC) provides aviation security and operations expertise to airports and airlines as well as participates in joint ventures with aviation-related firms. The company was established in 2007 by Lori L. Beckman who is President/CEO. As former Deputy Director of Public Safety and Security at Denver International Airport, Ms. Beckman has extensive leadership experience in Airport Operations and Public Safety and Security and has provided guidance and coordination of aviation security policy on national and international levels. Ms. Beckman has broad experience with Operational and Security Planning, Risk and Threat Assessments, Security Program design, Airport Emergency Plans, National Incident Management Project Management, Review and Analysis of Federal regulations and policies; and implementation of ICAO Annex 17 standards and recommendations.ASC works with commercial service airports regarding a multitude of security and operational issues. Examples include access control system audits, requirements and specifications; Identity Management System implementation, security staffing requirements and auditing of security positions and procedures to ensure compliance with federal requirements. ASC provides business development assistance for aviation companies, serves as an aviation security Expert Witness, consults with general aviation airports, conducts assessments and develops elevated security programs for high-risk aviation activities.

Progressively responsible leadership positions at both Stapleton and Denver International Airports; Leadership and management of Airport Security, Police and Terminal Operations which included over 500 direct/indirect employees. Developed the initial and on-going Denver Airport Security Program. Program responsibilities included security oversight for more than 1,000 tenants and vendors; security background investigations and adjudication; security training and badging for more than 32,000 airport employees; the airport's access control system Fiscal responsibility included a $25 million dollar security operating budget, as well as significant capital programs.Specific security programs developed post 9/11 include a Bomb Incident Prevention Program (BIPP), MANPADS Response Plan, AVSEC DHS threat level Orange and Red response program, and Security Directive countermeasures. In response to the 9/11 terrorist event, TSA mandated security surging activity at various times since 9/11 including the period after the terrorist activity in the United Kingdom. Other program coordination included Federal Air Marshal airport activities, K-9 Team operational requirements and regulatory compliance, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) operations, staffing and facility issues, and other law enforcement activities with agencies such as FBI, Department of State, and Secret Service and managing Canadian baggage screening issues. Participated in the Sister-Airport program with Munich and Frankfurt Germany Airport Security staff.
