I've been a volunteer for Girl Scouts since I graduated from High School. Whether as a Leader (I've done all levels from Daisies to Ambassadors,) a volunteer trainer for outdoor skills, first aid, or archery, a Camp Counselor, an Assistant Camp Director, Cookie volunteer, or National Delegate (2008), I've always valued the mission and the time with girls and other volunteers. I choose to give back and end up growing myself. Girl Scouting and its mission are part of who I am.

I maximize and support GSEMA's volunteer base through the creation of a continuous learning culture with a focus on online learning design and effective use of learning technologies, including (but not limited to) Litmos (LEAD Online, now gsLearn), and Zoom. In my position I am also responsible for supporting cross-departmental development of online courses that meet the needs of GSEMA's volunteers, increasing satisfaction, retention, and engagement. While focusing on externally facing content, I also provide inward facing staff training and content as needed for seasonal (Camp) staff, new hires, and "just in time" resources based upon a variety of departmental needs across the organization. I have created, developed, produced, and also host GSEMA's biweekly podcast, Take 5, which can be heard on Spotify, iTunes, and Anchor. Additionally, I manage all the first aid offerings of the council, including Medic First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Integral in the adoption and roll out of a Learning Management System for Girl Scout Volunteers and staff in the 10th largest Girl Scout Council in the United States. Develops, creates and rolls out online training, in the process of creating a robust archive of internal and external resources which are modular, structured, designed, retrievable, managed, shareable, and maintained.

Supported and trained Family Engagement Coordinators through out the Family Academic Support Team network in the K12 Public School roster. Led and ollaborated nationally with teams of educational professionals in providing solid support for families and students at virtual charter schools. Also involved in Marketing endeavors in writing and curating online blogs and newsletters.

Worked with corporate and national teams to develop a suite of training and support materials for clients/families both nationally and internationally. Content was developed and delivered asynchronously, synchronously online, in printed media, and video screencast release.
