Athletic Director
Current- Oversee a $100,000 budget for all sport accounts including expenses, fundraisers, and uniform rotations. - Evaluate and supervise coaches for all sports. This includes approximately 40 individuals such as head coaches, assistant coaches, and volunteers. - Schedule all contests, event staff, and transportation for league and non-league events for 19 sports. - Piloted and implemented the online student registration system for the benefit of eliminating paper registration. - Review and approve 600+ online student registrations for all sports, offseason programs, and the weight room. - Increased the number of student participation in athletics by approximately 20%. - Prepare parents and coaches meetings for around 200 attendees for each of the three seasons to provide an overview of school, district and state policies, set expectations for coaches, and review parent and athlete injury protocol. - Hold post-season award banquets for each of the three seasons to acknowledge achievements for each team such as league and state awards. - Verify that students meet the sports eligibility requirements for grades and attendance. - Coordinate with the Booster Club for fundraising and grants for teams. - Ensure adherence to all league, district, and state athletic policies such as student grade eligibility, coaches eligibility, attendance policies, and consequences for misconduct and violations. - Facilitate participation from high school alumni in periodic fundraisers benefitting the athletic department. - Act as an informal mentor to high school alumni to help guide them through college and careers.
