I have over 35 years of insurance experience to leverage preparing expert opinions in support of both the insurance company and the insured client. As an independent expert witness, I have chosen to act for both the company and the consumer based on my core belief that EACH party is responsible for their contribution to a valid contract. Occasionally it is the company that failed to ask reasonable questions at time of contract formation, yet at claim time they attempt to hold the consumer responsible for not providing information that was never clearly requested. More often, the consumer has failed to answer at least one question that was clear and objective – and then often attempted to claim benefits within two years for the very health conditions which were not disclosed.
