My role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating individual therapy sessions. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and empowers clients to achieve lasting recovery. In my first year, I was recognized as the most reliable employee, consistently demonstrating commitment by maintaining an explanatory attendance record. I worked 6 days a week for most weeks over my first initial 2.5 years, showcasing my dedication to both my clients and the organization. My active involvement in the community includes serving as a board member for the Brown County Mental Health and Addiction Services, where I contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving local mental health and substance abuse services. I regularly attend Brown County coalition meetings on the first Monday of each month, fostering collaboration among community stakeholders to enhance resources for individuals and recovery. Additionally, I participate in the Ohio Start program through the Brown County Job and Family Services, attending meetings every month on the first Wednesday to provide support and advocate for families affected by substance use disorders. Through these efforts, I have built strong relationships within the community and have become an integral part of the support network for those seeking recovery. My passion for community involvement and commitment to recovery drives me to continuously seek opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Additionally, Narcotics Anonymous which I am involved in started two meetings in the Brown County area one in Mount Orb two years ago and we have one starting September 2nd Every Monday at the Brown County Board of Mental Health Building and Addiction Services.
