Lori has over 32 years in the medical billing and coding business. She is the founder and president of Physician Medical Management, LLC, which provides coding, billing, and consultant services for local physician-owned practices in the Birmingham area. We specialize in Practice Management for Hospitalists, Rehab Hospitals and Nursing Home Provider’s. Lori previously worked for Simon Williamson Clinic in Birmingham in various billing, insurance and coding roles. She also held positions in billing and coding with other major healthcare facilities in her 32 years in the business. In addition,she has held officer positions such as President, Vice President and Education officer for the Jefferson County Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders, a member of the Alabama MGMA, Healthcare Compliance Association, and the American College of Medical Coding Specialists.Lori holds a CPC certification with the AAPC and PCS with ACMCS. She is also the 2014-2015 Vice President of the Local Chapter of American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and has a certification in ICD-10.
