Plan, direct and coordinate programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of employees. Work with managers to develop strategies on training objectives, and internship to work programs. Provided leadership and direction to the safety program. I was responsible for: the recruitment and selection of safety committee members; developing training materials and conducting training on safety initiatives; developing and implementing performance management process for safety team; working cooperatively with federal, state and local agencies to insure compliance; reviewing data from safety inspections and accident reports and insuring implementation of recommendations.

Managed and supervised daily operations of 5 dental practices. I was responsible for: monitoring productivity of the dental practices and making recommendations for improvement; recruiting, orienting, and supervising 70 employees; developing training programs for staff in regard to all aspects of workplace performance and professional development; developing and performing training programs on diversity in the workplace; overseeing all aspects of staff performance: performance evaluations, progressive discipline, and mediation of staff disputes and grievance procedures; conducting job analysis and making qualification determinations; coordinating community outreach dental educational programs; OSHA infection control compliance standards for the 5 dental practices. I was the Safety officer for the dental program. I oversaw safety activities and assured conformity. I also served as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Compliance Officer.
