As an Assistant Behavior Analyst, I work underneath a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and along with a team of other Behavior Analysts and Program Coordinators in order to:- Implement the appropriate Task Analysis programs in order to assist individuals with Autism with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in their home setting, such as life skills.- Follow specific protocol in order to assist client(s) with community integration.- Follow the science behind ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) in order to analyze and implement behavior tactics in order to either diminish unwanted behavior(s) or strengthen wanted behavior(s) across a variety of environments. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for those on the spectrum and to be as big a part of the world as possible, while maintaining a strong sense of self.
