The Platforms Business Development (BD) team strives to provide our R&D leaders with the strategic BD leadership they need to modernize the platforms we use to discover, develop, manufacture and deliver medicines across the whole portfolio, including all therapeutic areas and all modalities (NCEs– biopharm and Cell & Gene Therapy)

This Discovery Partneships with Academia unit at GSK (dpac.gsk.com) aims to build integrated partnerships with academics that can translate innovative research into medicines to benefit patients. I will be responsible for developing an enhanced strategic and business development approach to academic collaborations for the Upper Providence-Philadelphia geography and will assume responsibility for portfolio management across the entire DPAc portfolio. I will also co-lead a 2015 Discovery Fast Track (gsk.com/discoveryfasttrack) winner and guide the project through the development of high through-put and triage assays.

Our R&D unit is developing a portfolio in the maternal and neonatal health therapeutic area and also has accountability for the R&D Workstream of the GSK-Save the Children Partnership.
