*Serve and support Educational Service districts (ESDs), school districts, OSPI, policymakers, and the public by providing leadership and direction to school districts, schools, and informal educators regarding the integration of climate science education at the elementary and secondary level with the goal of identifying and creating culturally relevant and grade level specific climate science learning resources for all PK–12 students in Washington.*Develop grade-level open education resources (OERs) and learning materials to support districts in developing interdisciplinary units focused on climate change that include authentic learning experiences, integrate a range of perspectives, and are action-oriented. *Provide leadership for content advisory teams, guidance to educators and administrators, resource and learning materials development, and program management for the state PK–12 system in collaboration with other OSPI departments and programs to ensure all students in Washington state have access to climate science education across all their subjects. *Support PK–12 content and program staff for climate science-related grants, provisos, and contracts, such as ClimeTime.*Plan and host interdisciplinary educator workshops and events, such as the Annual Washington State Climate Education Summit and Climate Educator Book Club*Work with external partners, such as UW, NOAA, CU Boulder, CLEAN, NJ Dept of Education, to provide guidance and support for interdisciplinary PK–12 climate integration.

*Developed three-dimensional curriculum materials and assessments to meet the Nevada Academic Content Standards in Science (NVACSS) based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for district-level dissemination. *Developed and presented professional learning for teachers on implementing the NVACSS and NGSS, including using tools such as the EQuIP Rubric for Science v.3, the NGSS Lesson Screener, and the NGSS Science Task Screener as well as around current research in instructional methods aligned to current standards.*Collaborated with local, state, and national education stakeholders and organizations (e.g., National Science Teaching Association, Southern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Desert Research Institute, Nevada State Science Teachers Association) creating and advocating for high-quality equitable science instruction.
