– Responsible for providing extensive strategic planning and the implementation of a comprehensive outreach and engagement program. – Responsible for the leadership, development and implementation of strategic programming to build a culture of engagement, involvement and giving among the California Western alumni communities, locally and regionally, to advance the mission of the law school.  Areas of program concentration include; Alumni Engagement Office, Alumni Association, Alumni Association Board of Directors, Regional Alumni Association Club, Annual Giving & 3L Class Giving Programs. – Responsible for developing and implementing strategies and procedures for engaging, cultivating and creating an alumni community and building affinity for the law school through a variety of alumni outreach efforts.– Responsible for the supervision of the Alumni Engagement team and Alumni Association Volunteer program.– Responsible for the overall fiscal and administrative management of the Alumni Engagement Office, the Reunion and Regional Giving Program, Alumni Association Board of Directors, Alumni Association Regional Club programs, and Annual Giving. – Represent the Alumni Engagement department at all campus leadership meetings, on-campus committees and school events. – Responsible for engaging in external relations to promote the reputation of the law school and cultivate a culture of engagement and giving. – Established the CWWC (California Western Women’s’ Community) – Responsible for a Major Gifts Prospect portfolio

Design, plan, execute, manage and assess an integrated, strategic, comprehensive alumni affairs program that seeks to deepen alumni engagement and involvement within the Institution. Director is charged with creating heightened affinity and connectedness to the law school by implementing opportunities for alumni participation, involvement and engagement through leadership, professional expertise, program and volunteer service, that assist all entities of the law school campus and advances the goals of the Institution. The Director is responsible for the overall strategic vision, management and execution of all outreach, programs, events and activities affiliated with the Alumni Association Board of Directors and Regional Alumni Association Clubs and is responsible for cultivating, directing and stewarding volunteer committees, boards, alumni clubs,student groups and serves as the lead administrative liaison between the Alumni Association Board of Directors, Regional Alumni Club Officers and the academic and administrative leadership. Fosters strong working relationships with campus governing boards and advisory committees. The Director is responsible for designing and managing alumni affairs marketing materials (local and regional) association/club activities, provides and creates content for the alumni affairs portion of the alumni community campus section of the school’s website, alumni online monthly newsletter, Res Ispa Magazine and the international alumni online newsletter. Manages the content for programs and leadership boards. Oversees fundraising efforts for Annual Reunion Celebration, Alumni Association Awards Ceremony and Golf Tournament. In partnership with the Development Office, Director assists with the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects, donors and friends of the law school, in addition to partnering with the implementation of the 3L student and reunion class giving campaigns.

Director of Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of the law school's philanthropic programs; i.e. major giving, annual giving, class giving, planned giving, and Board of Trustee, faculty and staff campaigns, regional development, stewardship, cultivation, solicitations, recognition/stewardship outreach and event/programs and alumni relations programs. The Director is responsible for the identification, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation of probable donors, current donors, alumni and friends of the law school. The Director manages and directs the Alumni Association Board of Directors, setting its mission, policies, goals and implements all initiatives and programs. The Director is responsible for alumni outreach (local and regional) and all events and programs. This position is responsible for the overall fiscal and administrative management of the development and alumni relations functions. The Director develops strategies and policies to support the effective and efficient operations of these functions. This position represents the development and alumni relations department at Board of Trustee and Department Head meetings, internal and external school events and engages in external relations to promote the reputation of the school.
