After a 30 year career as a Licensee for United Colors of Benetton owning and operating stores from Washington DC to Tampa Florida, my husband and I developed 4 luxury retail concepts in Amelia Island Florida. lori+lulu was our first creation and success upon opening our doors. The inspiration is bohemian luxury marketed to a multi-generation coastal tourist retired woman who want to look modern, but age appropriate. Pearl Boutique is our Lilly Pulitzer specialty concept with a southern lifestyle feel. JJ COOPER is a Relaxed Refined Resort mens boutique featuring Peter Millar and premier lines with an Americana meets the south Inspiration. Our newest creation, ISOLA Home opened September 1, 2019 and is an absolute unique and gorgeous home, gift and accessory store.

lori+lulu is a specialty boutique featuring laid back luxury lifestyle clothing, jewelry and shoes. Our locations include Ameila Island, Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC with more to come. The store has a luxury boho chic feel with California luxury lines including Johnny Was, Hale Bob, Fresh Laundry, Nic+Zoe, Dylan, Barefoot Dreams, Krazy Larry, Linda Richards, DL1961, Liverpool and many more. Our jewelry lines are exclusive and unique, including Bittersweet Designs, Virgins Saints & Angels, Liquid Metal, Theia and Sorrelli. The name lori+lulu was born after John & Lori Lecker lost their beloved once in a lifetime Bichon Frise, Lulu. Lori decided to make the name of their new concept personal & figured that combining her name with Lulu was a mathematical equation that equalled Pure Unconditional Love. lori+lulu=love.....the love of a girl and her dog.

JJ COOPER is a premier luxury Men's store located in downtown Fernandina Beach, Florida. Core lines include Peter Millar, Fish Hippie, Barbour, A Fish Named Fred, Maceoo, Gun & Rod, Barbour and many many more. The inspiration for the concept came from visiting top specialty mens stores in Austin, Charleston, Charlotte and New York. The store has an Americana vibe with vintage brick, reclaimed wood, antlers and copper elements. A boubon bar in the back completes the experience.

Pearl is a boutique featuring Lilly Pulitzer, Gretchen Scott, Julie Brown Designs and very exclusive luxury lines including Camilla, Tashia London, Mint & Rose, and Calypso St. Barth. The store also features exclusive jewelry, swimwear and lingerie.

United Colors of Benetton was my life and love for 28 years. I began my retail career out of college in 1986 as a Store Manager and turned 3 near bankrupt locations into top national producers. Five years later, the Benetton family afforded me an opportunity to become an owner in Charlotte, NC. After taking yet another failure to one of the top 10 producing stores $ per sq./ft in the USA, a regional agent, Iraklis Karabassis saw potential and formed a partnership that allowed us to expand to multiple locations in the southeast and Washington DC.
