I have been working in the mortgage industry since 1994. I have worked as a Mortgage Loan Originator, Processor and finally my current position as an Underwriter. I am an FHA DE Underwriter, VA LAPP and SAR. I also underwrite and have originated/processed Conventional and USDA loans as well. In the past, I have worked for a Real Estate attorney in NC processing closing packages and preparing HUD1 Settlement Statements so I have knowledge of the closing side of a mortgage transaction as well as the originating side. From 1998 - 2001 I worked at a bank in the Commercial Department processing commercial loans. Working with the public for 25+ years has helped me to develop excellent customer service skills as well as communication skills both verbally and written. I've never lost sight of the customer's best interests and always work to provide them with the best service possible whether it be through originating, processing or underwriting. I am proficient in DU, LP and USDA's GUS and have worked in a branch support position for all systems. I love GOD, my husband, my family and my friends. Life is good for me. I am truly blessed.
