As President of One Connection Management Group and Orlando Conference Management Group, Inc. also known as OCMG, Lori leads her team with a contagious passion. She understands that the success of a meeting or event has a direct impact on her client’s professional reputation. She and her team strive to make every event a magical experience to remember. Lori joined OCMG, a woman-owned and WBENC certified organization, at its inception in 1993. Previously Lori worked for Walt Disney World Marketing and GE Horizons Marketing in EPCOT Center. In 2012, Lori purchased OCMG and has developed and grown the business (including the recent addition of services for the sports market), establishing a reputation for excellence and expertise from intimate customer advisory board meetings to large franchise conventions and promotions. Lori is known for her meticulous attention to detail, designing, planning, and implementing highly complex events. Her meeting and event management expertise includes site selection, registration, website management, on-site coordination, creative themed event planning, recreation/entertainment theming and production with the financial management expertise to keep it all on budget. As a business owner herself, Lori understands the complexity of running a company and applies her experience with financial management, branding, technology and marketing to every event. During Lori’s years at OCMG, she has developed strong, long-term customer relationships with Fortune 500 companies and organizations such as General Electric (GE), General Nutrition Centers (GNC); GE Foundation, Element Fleet, Synchrony Financial, Donlen Corporation, and Global Alliance for Genomics and Health. While at Disney, Lori was involved in promotions, press events and special events for theme parks such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Night of Joy and Grad Nites as well as international marketing and TV and radio remote broadcasts. Lori also has many years of experience in charitable events/scholarship fundraising. Lori also managed an Olympic medal winner athlete during an Olympic hopeful program in conjunction with Coca-Cola Powerade & Home Depot as well as during the athlete’s early professional career.Lori is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE), Advisory Council member at Church In the Son, and a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Journalism.
