At 14 years old I was editor of my junior high newspaper. At 17, editor of my high school newspaper. At 20 years old, after graduating with a diploma in Broadcast journalism from Mount Royal College, a television news anchor delivering the 6 o’clock news (okay….and I was also the weather girl).For the remainder of my 20′s I was a journalist – reporter, editor, editor-in-chief and television news anchor.Now, at 41-years-old, I’m still a journalist – telling the story of every bride and groom, every family and every person that I photograph.My photos capture a sequence of events that make up your day. You won’t find a disc of photos that seem different from each other. They are complimentary, uniform and unique.I’m a multiple award-winning photographer and photojournalist. I hold membership in the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Association.Nanton, AB is home for my husband, daughter and I.

Lori received her diploma in Broadcast Journalism at Mount Royal College before becoming a television news anchor and reporter in her hometown of Lloydminster. She then spent several years on feedlots and in marketing and journalism in Australia before returning to Canada to be editor-in-chief for two southern Alberta newspapers. Lori came to ABP as Communications Officer in March 2007, becoming Manager five months later. Lori was raised on a purebred cattle operation, and still owns a herd of Red and Black Angus.Responsible for managing all ABP communications and media relations activities Supervises and directs the preparation of newsletters, media releases, reports, and the ABP website Responsible for communications strategies and content, media training, and special communication projects Staff support to the Communications Committee.

I was a reporter in Lacombe before moving to Vulcan to be editor. I ended my time with Bowes Publishing as Editor in Chief of the Vulcan Advocate and Nanton News.
