Worked closely with the State of North Carolina Department of Human and Health Services to develop policies and procedures around home care & medical staffing to obtain a home care license with the State of North Carolina. Once BrightStar Care of Cary was awarded a license in January 2015, was instrumental in building strategic partnerships with national healthcare companies (i.e., Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Quest Diagnostics, etc.) across the country to provide skilled nursing services for patients located in the Cary/Raleigh, NC area. One year into the business, BrightStar Care of Cary achieved its Joint Commission Accreditation, to differentiate itself from other home care agencies in the area. The Joint Commission Accreditation is recognized nationwide by the healthcare industry as a symbol of quality and is the highest accreditation a healthcare provider can achieve. BrightStar Care of Cary is one of only three healthcare providers in the Cary/Raleigh, NC area who have this distinguished accreditation. The Joint Commission Accreditation was achieved through ensuring regulatory compliance, providing quality care to clients/patients, and following policies and procedures. With only an assigned territory to build from, grew the agency to $2.3M in total revenue with hiring 250 plus employees over a span of 4 years. Implemented recruiting guidelines to ensure top healthcare providers were identified and retained. Utilized job boards, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets to attract talent. Developed a new hire orientation process to ensure all incoming employees had a solid understanding of BrightStar Care of Cary’s policies and procedures and could represent the agency brand well in the market. Solely responsible for all daily operations, responsible for weekly payroll, creating all invoices for clients, ownership and management of accounts receivable.

Promoted to Vice President in February 2008, while continuing to support the Corporate Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Consumer & Small Business Bank and Global Technology & Operations lines of businesses. In March of 2009, was asked to support Home Loans and was designated as the Executive Sourcing Team’s Home Loans Relationship Manager with a dotted line to the Home Loans staffing executive. After supporting Home Loans for two years, was requested to support executive staffing for the newly formed Legacy Asset Servicing (LAS) organization in February 2011. Currently support the Legacy Asset Servicing (LAS) organization and responsible for attracting executive level talent for critical needs while interfacing with and influencing hiring executives, learning and leadership development executives, human resources executives and staffing executives at the SVP level. While successfully meeting goals on the recruiting side, also partnered with the Bank of America Social Media Team to strategize, design, develop and implement innovative channels to attract talent to Bank of America. In September of 2009, partnered with 5 team members to build out the project plan for launching BofA_Careers on Twitter.com. The objective was to establish an additional channel for potential applicants to learn more about Bank of America career opportunities, view job postings and be able to communicate “one on one” with a Bank of America staffing representative to enhance their candidate experience. Influenced at the executive level, and partnered with Compliance, Legal, Risk and Corporate Marketing and Communications, to obtain the approvals needed to “go-live”. BofA_Careers was launched in May 2010, has a total of 17K plus followers, and is currently the #1 career site on Twitter across the financial services industry. Other notable contributions include a project team member for the roll out of Generation 2 of the Bank of America Staffing Playbook in 2010.

Supported the Keane Southeast Region (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York). Was responsible for recruiting candidates with technical and functional skill sets, facilitating weekly status meetings on assigned accounts and providing status of where candidates were in the recruiting process for different clients, posting job requirements to the web, screening potential candidates, negotiating salary with selected candidates, formatting resumes to client satisfaction, coordinating interviews with hiring managers and maintaining Keane’s resume database on a daily basis. Worked with Keane Service Delivery Managers, Recruiting Managers, Global Resource Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents on a daily basis to ensure resources were allocated in a timely manner and company revenue goals were being achieved.
