Responsible for national projects that support the growth and building GEA's reputation through the creation and execution of strategic, cost-effective meeting and events that express GEA's customer focus, brand superiority and industry leadership.

Create and plan trade, media and VIP experiences at each Brown-Forman Homeplace, as well as hotel, restaurant, and other external partners to ensure a consistent, high level experience across our Brown-Forman brand homeplaces including: Jack Daniel Distillery, Woodford Reserve Distillery, Old Forester Distillery, Brown-Forman Cooperage, Casa Herradura, Sonoma Cutrer Vineyards, Korbel Winery, Slane Distillery, Glenglassaugh Distillery, Glendronach Distillery and BenRiach Distillery.

Provide meeting and travel planning services for all internal departments, divisions and subsidiaries. Approximately 60-70 events per year which encompass meeting with host/committee to determine needs/budget/goals and objectives, site selection, contract negotiation, coordination of all logistics, liaison for travel needs, work with on-premise market managers to assure strong BF accounts are used and potential for additional placements in maximized.

• Managed and developed Interlude, Sacred Heart School’s annual fundraiser, attended by over 500 people, increasing profit by 12.9% while reducing costs by 36%.• Secured $88,000 in sponsorship from campus parents, alumni and friends for Interlude. • Handled all vendor relations for events and negotiate prices, details and billing.• Led creation of all marketing materials for events, including invitations, programs and advertisements.

• Managed the business retention and expansion program and maintained client relations through regular visits and phone calls, keeping businesses up-to-date on local and state resources, programs and funding available.• Served as a liaison between clients and local and state government when pursing incentives, including business expansion, job training and funding opportunities.• Organized networking events and brainstorming opportunities for the regional business community.

• Executed coordination of six large events and festivals as well as meetings, programs and receptions each year for the Louisville Metro Community and Louisville Metro Government.• Created the annual Mayor’s Hike & Bike series that has grown into the largest non-competitive community bike ride in the United States. • Developed sponsorship program for Louisville Metro Government events and programs, which grew to over $300,000 in sponsorship funds being raised each year. • Cultivated strong working relationships with regional businesses and civic leaders, as a liaison for Mayor Abramson.
