* Manage daily medical office operations for multiple general/vascular surgeons and ancillary employees at our in-office ambulatory surgical suite. ; * Obtain licensing, registration, Federal DEA certificates, malpractice insurance and credentialing for each surgeon. ; * Strong computer knowledge including current EMR implementation. Presently trained on EPIC EMR software and fully knowledgeable of the EHR incentive reimbursement. ; * Communicate directly with patients including surgical scheduling, insurance authorizations, medications, surgical clearances and pre-surgical testing. ; * Worked diligently as billing liaison including coding, collections and appeals. ; * Interview and hire all personnel for various office positions. ; * Meet with representatives regarding new products and procedures. ; * Work closely with accountant on a monthly basis to discuss accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, 401K contributions and investment accounts. ; * All general office duties including heavy phones, scheduling, filing, data entry and mail.
