Assistant Clinical Professor at Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing (NHWSN). My specialties are pediatrics, rural and migrant health, social determinants of health, health system improvement, data management and integration, and nursing education. My clinical specialty is as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC). Practicing as a clinical volunteer at both the Good Samaritan Clinic as well as The Fugees Refugee School, both in Atlanta, GA. These clinics treat the homeless, refugees, and underserved communities. Within the NWWSN I co-developed a mobile pediatric clinic serving pediatric Head Start communities in Metro Atlanta. I precept Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) students in each of these settings. I currently serve as the Graduate Coordinator, data systems manager, and PNP clinical preceptor for the Farm Worker Family Health Program (FWFHP). Faculty Liaison for the Emory InMOTION, a HRSA-funded nurse training program to expand a diverse nursing workforce and support underserved communities with mobile health initiatives.
