I understand, apply, and explain concepts from BSC Doc Control policies and procedures. I guide/coach and problem solve for internal customers on Windchill change process activities.I am part of a global team that aims to provide help and guidance on the many components of new product development object creation, R&D document and part/BOM updates, and sustaining engineering product documentation updates, and acquisition integrations. I've built a network of BSC resources who I can call on for advice when I need to and for whom I am available for the same. I share my knowledge and experience with more junior members of the team to enable them to be better at what they do.The work I do challenges me to prioritize my day and think more broadly in terms of how many moving parts of a large project there are and how important it is to work together and communicate.I've traveled and represented BSC quality systems on several occasions for an acquisition during 2017 and 2018 and enjoyed it.

Assist and guide product designers and R&D teams in the creation and maintenance of objects in the Product Data Management (Windchill) system. Provide guidance on the objects created in Windchill to meet regulatory requirements. + Able to prioritize workload as needed when managing 20+ Windchill Change Notices (CN) at one time by incorporating the use of MS OneNote as a means of organizing associated notes, data and emails so that I don't miss important facts. + Maintain excellent communications between all interested parties of each CN to keep all up to date and flush out problems so they may be solved and not hinder the project timeline. + Provide guidance to people on the requirements of objects in the Windchill system as well as how to accomplish tasks in the system. + Building an internal network of resources to tap when I need help resolving any issue I don't fully understand yet. + Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Product Lifecycle Management software, Windchill. + Participate on development team for next gen PLM software to include requirements identification thru user testing.

Assist product designers and R&D project teams in the creation, execution, and management of Product Data Management (PDM) deliverables and Change Requests including the following; - Create and update document structure to give visibility to how a document is linked in the system. - Create and update parts used by production. - Create and update Bills of Materials that support production. - Manage Change Request completeness in accordance with BSC SOPs. Stay up to date with the requirements in continuously changing operating procedures. - Expedite the collaboration and approval process through effective communication with approvers and managers here and abroad. - Support multiple project teams utilizing prioritization, communication, delegation and team working skills. - Contribute socially to the company by co-leading an employee Art Show.

Using SolidWorks/SolidCAM, I create toolpaths/programs for the laser cutting systems and troubleshoot unforseen problems with the cut product. I also work with engineering to develop manufacturing processes for laser cutting and maintenance procedures for technical staff.I work closely with engineering on developing solid process parameters, performing DOE's and working with Minitab/Statease software to input data and help engineers in analyzing it.

Operated 3 Nd:Yag laser systems on second shift with no onsite technical support. I was trained to troubleshoot the lasers by engineering. I worked closely with the engineers who developed these systems to create the work instructions for future operators.

This company manufactured portable Automated External Defibrillators.I used AutoCAD software to create prints for new parts per engineering specifications. Controlled and Organized the documents once they were active. I was a member of the company safety team and also helped to organize some company events.
