I have channeled my passion for the arts into a Bachelor's of Science in Fine Arts and a Master's of Education, with endorsements in Fine Arts and Special Education. I have worked in many different school positions and grant art programs with a variety of students,K-12th grade. My combination of experience in teaching, visual and performing arts, allows me to tailor curriculum to meet a diverse group of students and learning styles. While working as a teacher, I was inspired to become a certified 200 hour Yoga Calm youth and adult instructor. I saw the great need for mindfulness and yoga-based activities for youths and adults. Coming full circle in my education, personal yoga practice, and career as an artist, I hope to blend both art and physical movement to enhance student learning and the needs of the larger community.
