Since Kids Crossing has opened an adult residential agency, I have taken on the task of running the department. We are just starting up, but things are moving quickly. I already have 3 host homes and two individuals in services. Partners In Care will work with host homes and adults with developmental disabilities to help each individual achieve their full.

Through Kids Crossing I worked as a home coordinator. I conducted monthly home visits with foster parents and children placed in their home. I attended meetings and maintained files, but most important, I helped support the needs of foster families.

Originally Carmel Community Living, I worked my way up through Overture. I started at the front desk answering phones, then moved into a Program Coordinator position. I worked with adults with developmental disabilities in their host home settings in a case management type of position. I stayed in the Program Coordinator position for one year before moving.

Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for children invovled in the foster system. I conducted home visits, created court reports, and represented a different perspective in the court room.
