Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backup strategies which are aligned with corporate requirements. Administrator of both disk and tape backups. Migration from legacy system to Veritas (Symantec) Netbackup tape and disk storage. Configured and maintained backup policies to ensure all systems are protected. Utilizing Iron Mountain for offsite tape storage. Provided corporate support for all user account creations to multiple unix based systems in the local datacenter.
