I am a caring nurse. I never let my patients down. I am a critical thinker. I am versed in goals and objectives. My goal is to be the best nurse I can and treat each of my clients with respect and dignitiy. I treat my clients with a holistic approach. My main speciality is rehab and critical care nursing. My passion is pediatric population. I love to teach. I am an advocate for my client's needs. I love working with families and care givers and problem solve their care plan. I am challenged by barriers to care plan that a client has. I strive to acheive excellence in all I do. I love being a nurse and all it encompasses. It is a great profession that is rewarding at the end of the day. God gave me the gifts of compassion and intellect. My day is complete and fullfilled when i help a patient. This is what life is about helping each other and seeing the next day. Nursing is an amazing profession and so much you can do with it. I feel I have alot of experience in different areas of nusing, but my favorite is critical care nursing. It is an awesome feeling when a patient is extubated and can breathe or a TBI patient can talk. To be a nurse is worthwhile!!!My goals as I nurse are assiting my clients through the maze of health care, educating them on their diagnosis and how to live with it, and treating each one of them holistically. Each patient deserves to be heard on their journey of their illness or injury. I am very flexible and non judgemental. I love working with physicians on plan of care and being the advocate to what the patient needs. I treat all my patients like they were my own family. i love case management and designing plans for them. I always try to find a solution to each problem.My main specialities are: TBI, Spinal cord injury, and trauma clientsI love working with therapists and develop goals and formulate plansI love rehab nursing. I love working with PMR staff and assisting in outcomes through the continuum of care
