I have worked my entire career in Health Care. I began as a Certified Nursing Assistant when I was 16 years old and then became a License Practical nurse in 1983. I worked at Woodland Healthcare Center in Brookfield Wisconsin for 9 years. I then moved to Marshfield Wisconsin in 1987 working as an LPN in the medical surgical float pool at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital (a 500 plus tertiary care teaching hospital). In 1995, I obtained my BSN and continued to work on the Medical floor at MSJH until 2011 when I completed my Masters of Science in Nursing Administration. At that time, I made a career change and accepted a job at Marshfield Cinic as a Risk Management Nurse. I worked in this role for one year. A wonderful opportunity came up as a Clinical Nurse Educator at Ministry Health Care and I have been working in this capacity since August of 2012.

Clinical Nurse EducatorMinistry Health Care Aug 2012 - PresentParticipated in the Development and implementation of an RN on boarding program for Ministry Health Care. This program encompassed 15 hospitals from critical access to tertiary care trauma centers. Developed curriculum, skills checklists and competencies. Applied adult learning theory and incorporated various types of learning activities to meet the needs of the adult learner.
