Lori has been in the financial industry since 1993. Prior to this career change she was a teacher and coach for middle school and high school students in Minnesota, India and Japan. She began this career because she believed everyone should have access to professional financial planning and advice. She believes the foundation to investing is to create a financial plan that establishes a client’s current financial status and then determines his/her future goals. She has approached investing from this perspective since the beginning and she strives never to waiver from this belief system.As a 30-year financial services industry veteran, Lori continues to learn and grow with the industry and her peers. She enjoys maintaining relationships with long-term clients and plays an active role in helping them transition to the next phase of their financial life. Lori is also continuing to grow her practice by mentoring advisors, growing her financial planning practice, and even launching the new Blue Heron Tax Partners in 2023.Lori and her spouse, Renee, live in Hopkins and love to be active outdoors, camping up north and expanding their hobbies.
