I operated my own medical transcription business serving both medical clinics and hospitals. I gained medical terminology experience in the fields of internal medicine, family medicine, neurology, podiatry, orthopedics, and multiple surgical specialty fields. Many of the doctors I transcribed for were non-native English speakers, so I developed a good ear for understanding a variety of accents.
