I contract with companies to do a variety of writing projects, including for newspapers and newsletters.

For most of my tenure I was responsible for covering city and county government, two school districts, feature and some editorial writing as well as writing all sports for both schools. I also handled the bulk of the photography duties. Over the last eight years, however, I have primarily focused on sports and editorial writing.

As the primary reporter for this weekly publication, I was responsible for covering local and county government, education, sports, agriculture and writing features, editorials and, for a time, a column. I was also the primary photographer for The Press-News. Additionally, I was the writer for a variety of special sections we published.

Covered all school events including sports, concerts, plays and art shows. I also wrote several features on community members.
