I am passionate about creating opportunities for businesses and communities to thrive in the region. As the Economic Development Director for Elevate Rapid City, I work with a dynamic team of professionals to promote business and personal advancement through a targeted spotlight on jobs, infrastructure, and overall quality of life in and around the Black Hills region and the Rapid City metro area. I hold an Economic Development Finance Professional certification from the National Development Council, as well as a MBA from Chadron State College combined with years of experience as a small business owner. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization, as well as a strong commitment to its mission and culture.In my current role, I leverage my skills in public-private partnerships, new business development, and change management to attract, retain, and grow businesses in the region. I also collaborate with local, state, and federal stakeholders to identify and address the needs and challenges of the business community, and to provide them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
