My interest in the rental industry began early as my father had a construction rental company and my own background was a combination of design and theatre. My career began with graphic design and then transitioned to working with my Dad for several years. Trained by one of the best, I eventually expanded my expertise to include computer software which introduced me to the party rental business.I embraced my entrepreneurial spirit and partnered with an associate who was accomplished in sales within the hospitality industry. We developed a business plan, secured an SBA loan and launched a party tent rental business that successfully grew for over 15 years. The next part of my journey lead to the music festival business for several years, managing blues bands, booking dates, travel, and accommodation for multiple artists. My expertise in event management became very fine-tuned, having accountability for moving musicians and equipment to international destinations. Ultimately, I realized that I missed the localized business I had left and was sought out by a national party rental business with a location in South Florida. I became their account manager in charge of new and existing accounts and realized how much I enjoy being based in South Florida.
