About Lori-Anne Charette

I am a people person and that would explain why I've always worked in the customer service industry. Like many others my first job was at McDonald's where I stayed 8 years! I spent 5 of those years as a part-time swing manager while studying Applied Human (social) Sciences at Concordia University. The position of Swing manager helped me build my leadership skills and passion for customer service.Once I graduated from Concordia I moved on to a customer service position in a smaller company, after 2 years there I moved on to the Company I currently work for, TELUS. I started out as customer service rep and I truly enjoyed interaction with customers, however I wanted to have an impact on the bigger picture, and I wanted to help others grow while counting to help offer a world class customer experience.A few years later I accepted a position as quality coach, which allowed me to coach our team and guide our team members to achieve an outstanding customer experience. From there I moved on to team manager which has allowed me to continue my passion for helping others grow, while fostering team engagement and growth.As a team manager one of my primary responsibilities is people manager but I also I have the opportunity to work on projects, analyze and review reports, embrace and encourage change while challenging the status quo. Being team manager allows me to touch on all aspects of what I love, customer service and helping others grow.
