As the Director of Operations, I work with Physician Organization (PO) practices in Delaware for successful implementation of value-based contracting with our Delaware insurance payers.

Their 27 Board Certified Nephrologists and 11 mid-level providers are experts in the management of hypertension, chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, end-stage renal disease, kidney transplantation, kidney stones, and other kidney-related disorders. Lori Ann has joined the team serving as the Practice Administrator for three practice locations in Kent and Sussex County in Delaware.

Dr. Ari Abel is an expert in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive and orbital surgery. This is a highly specialized area of plastic surgery that focuses on the face and especially the area around the eyes.Dr. Abel provides reconstructive surgery for people with age-related eyelid conditions, including drooping eyelids (ptosis), and eyelid malpositions (entropion, ectropion). We treat tumors of the eyelids and orbit, trauma, congenital abnormalities, thyroid eye disease, tearing problems, and blinking difficulties (blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm). Dr. Abel also specializes in a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, brow lifting, and face lifting. Lori Ann served as the Practice Manager for the Abel Center.

Directed all aspects of physician relations for the Medical Society of Delaware (MSD). This included practice management, practice education, and overall physician advocacy for MSD members. She also served as the Director for health system innovation for MSD, which included operational management of health care reform initiatives, which engaged hundreds of physician practices in population health and pay for performance programs. In addition, she served as the Program Manager for the State of Delaware Contract with MSD for practice transformation support.
