Served as board secretary for Water Street Studios, a nonprofit 501c (3), committed to making the creative arts accessible to the Fox Valley community. Water Street Studios' mission is to be a vibrant organization dedicated to the creation and appreciation of the arts, and supporting our core community of Water Street Studio artists, patrons and students. Currently serve as co-chair of Project Fusion marquee fundraiser.

Writing and editing content and developing content strategies on a contract basis.

• Established a team that delivered content marketing solutions and niche publications generating over $10M in incremental revenue annually for Tribune Interactive and Tribune Publishing divisions.• Created content for more than 50 annual marketing plans from client presentation to publishing and digital launch in subject areas including home and garden, financial planning, family activities, senior lifestyles, real estate, public utilities, special events, dining, higher education, and non-profit organizations.• Worked with over 100 advertising clients and agencies annually to develop content strategies to engage readers, effectively market brands, and communicate messaging while working within stringent media guidelines.• Strategized with internal sales representatives and their clients to develop successful content campaigns.• Implemented company’s largest and successful branded content marketing strategy for a top Midwestern home improvement retailer, a $500K annual campaign that included over 100 articles, videos, infographics and DIY crafts. • Transitioned all print and digital advertising content projects to new division after acquisition of the Sun-Times Suburban Media Group.• Built and managed team of full-time and contract writers, editors and graphic artists to successfully produce more than 100 print and digital projects annually. • Oversaw staff integration during five company-wide reorganizations.• Planned production calendars and managed workflow ensuring all deadlines were met.
